Is the issue with Rubin really whether or not he is “Far Right,” or that he is a political chameleon who will give comfortable interviews to absurd people who will drive up views for his show, and furthermore, claim they are part of “The New Center”? All he has to do is trot out the pro gay marriage/pot/universal healthcare stuff to those who claim he is on the far right or a part o the alt-right and pretty much end the argument to those without a horse weighing in. I think you and Josh et al. are barking up the right tree, but coming away with the wrong conclusions.
